I looked at the photo and pondered and pondered. How on earth will I scrap this? I had a good old rummage and came up with this little combo. I wanted quite 'manly' papers or colours and focussed on the red at the front of the train.
I think I mentioned before that I have a real thing for buttons at the moment. Can't seem to do a page or card without at least 3 on!
The flower is just a sticker and then I added some depth to it by sticking a button (yes I know!) in the middle.
Finally, here's a close up of the photo and journalling.
Whilst I've added a flower border, I dont think it detracts from the more male type of theme.

I'm with you on the buttons.....I'm sure there is a name for it (will have to find out). Yeah with the flowers as well, I have even put them on my sons LOs....if a male can't embrace a flower then they are not real men!!!! Love you stripy paper it really goes with the photo and your other embellies.
