birthday scrapbook page 2

Well I've eventually got around to posting the second page of my birthday scrapbook. It has taken me a while to post it as it has been so dark lately that I haven't had good enough light to photograph it.
So...this is the page I made which stopped me doing any more. I think it was too orange. I looked at it, liked it, looked at, hated it and then decided that scrapping wasn't for me.
What do you think?
I have made a couple more pages now, so I'll post them as we go on.

  1. I think you need to keep going and make lots more pages :) The more you do, the easier it will be for you to decide what you like on a page, what designs look good, how much journaling you like. If you like recording things, then scrapbooking is for you!

  4. I can't believe you have to ask 'if' you are a scrapper. You definitely are :) This is lovely - looking forward to more pages.

  5. I have to say I think you should keep going - ok if you're not happy with the page, take it apart and try again. Sometimes pages are just like that, you look and look and it still doesn't click. How about trying a sketch? But I have to say, personally I don't think there is anything wrong with your layout at all. I really like it. So please keep at it.
