birthday scrapbook page 2

Well I've eventually got around to posting the second page of my birthday scrapbook. It has taken me a while to post it as it has been so dark lately that I haven't had good enough light to photograph it.
So...this is the page I made which stopped me doing any more. I think it was too orange. I looked at it, liked it, looked at, hated it and then decided that scrapping wasn't for me.
What do you think?
I have made a couple more pages now, so I'll post them as we go on.

  1. I think you need to keep going and make lots more pages :) The more you do, the easier it will be for you to decide what you like on a page, what designs look good, how much journaling you like. If you like recording things, then scrapbooking is for you!

  2. this sounds like fun, i just finished a 40 album chronically last year, a great thing to look back on :)

  3. Ooo this is lovely :D
I love the colours you have used, they tone so well with the photos

  4. I can't believe you have to ask 'if' you are a scrapper. You definitely are :) This is lovely - looking forward to more pages.

  5. I have to say I think you should keep going - ok if you're not happy with the page, take it apart and try again. Sometimes pages are just like that, you look and look and it still doesn't click. How about trying a sketch? But I have to say, personally I don't think there is anything wrong with your layout at all. I really like it. So please keep at it.

  6. Beautiful colour choice. Great work.

  7. Lovely page...keep on scrapping, keep on playing :)

  8. Keep at it and your scrapping will start to flow. It's all in the practise and personnal choice. When is the third layout going to be shown. Can't wait to meet up at Stamparama....I will encourage you to buy more scrapping stash!
