Shimelle: Something from almost nothing

I've decided to take the plunge and I've signed up for Shimelle Laines online course called Something From Almost Nothing.

The idea is that you use the stash you already have so you don't have to buy anything specifically for it. You can make your own separate album but I'm just going to add to the albums I already have on the go.

So along came prompt one and it was to use anything metal. There were designer pages to look at for inspiration (and yes they were just lovely) and lots of ideas. I have loads of brads so I decided to use them on my next page.
I'm not really a brad person, but that's the whole point of the course as it encourages you to use things that just lay around!

Prompt 2 has arrived. I'm not going to reveal what it is just yet as I want to make a page first.

  1. Those snowmen along the bottom look fab! Is that a bunch or did you cut them all out??

  2. That red pp really shows off those snowy photos so well Ally. I'll keep an eye out for you in class then!

  3. Great LO, doesn't it feel good to use up old stash - as well as making room for new stuff ;)

  4. It's soooo good to use up all that left over scraps...infact so good you don't feel the guilt when you buy more! Great LO.

  5. Good on you for using up scraps something I really need to do...... You LO looks fab x

  6. What a lovely page and well done for using up your scraps...xo
