a card for a change!

The theme on passion for promarkers this week is 'music'. I don't have a stamp directly related to music so I had to think a little more outside of the box.
This is my first attemp at an easel card and it isn't too bad even if I say so myself! I covered the card in a piece of sheet music and then went over it with weathered wood distress ink. The image is coloured with promarkers.

The two butterflies are more of a purply colour but the camera seems to have turned them pink!

Overall I think it's darker than I anticipated but not a bad effort I guess.

A card for a change!

I haven't made a card or used my Tilda stamps for ages so it seemed time to get her out.
I coloured her with my promarkers, keeping the shades quite muted to keep the distressed/vintage feel.
You can see her more closely here.

I'm going to enter this card into 3 challenges this wee:

Gingersnap Creations - the theme was markers

Passion for promarkers - the theme was distressing

Just magnolia - the theme was vintage

Hope you like it
