A card for mum

This is the birthday card I have made for Simon's mum (the mark down the length of the ribbon is where the glue hasn't dired - I was too eager to blog it!!)
The stamp is by Penny Black and is called Garden Gossip. I've coloured it with promarkers and cut it out with a nestie (I so love my nesties!)

Oh dear

I expect you're wondering about the title post. Well it was my birthday on Friday and it was a birthday to remember. I had a very nasty car accident.
I hit the central reservation of a dual carriageway, then the kerb and flipped the car. We rolled a couple of times and landed upside down in a ditch. Both my son and I were hanging upside down by our seatbelts. The rescue services were able to get my son out, but I had to be cut free.
Neither of us have serious injuries, not even broken bones. Ryan had a cut on his head which just needed glueing together. I had to stay in as I've hurt my head and neck but nothing serious.
How it wasn't worse I will never know.

Anyway, the oh dear, relates to this card. I was meant to blog it on Friday and enter it for some challenges, but I was rather busy at the tim. So here it is now.

I have used a Sugarplums stamp called Winter Emma which I have coloured with promarkers.

At last!

Oh my goodness. I have withdrawal symptoms from cardmaking. We've been back at school for just over a week and I either haven't got the time or the energy to do any crafting!
This little card I've just made is for the Pollycraft challenge (I should get it in just in time - fingers crossed), where the theme was Christmas without red or green. I've used the penguin (did you know that I absolutely LOVE penguins?) from the Little Claire set - All set for Christmas and coloured him with promarkers. The stamp was also from the same set.

It's Tilda!

It's such a wet and miserable day today and I can't believe that this is the last full week of the summer holidays left!
Anyway, here's another card which I'm entering for the Cute Card Thursday challenge where there was a sketch to follow this week. The stamp is Baking Tilda with a wooden spoon and I coloured her with promarkers. I'm loving pink and green at the moment!

Little green fairy

I'm off on my hols on Friday for a week and have done one last challenge before I go. The theme on Passion for Promarkers this week is to use green as the dominant colour. I've used a digi stamp from Pollycraft for this one and coloured her with promarkers (of course!). Lots and lots of buttons too, but all very green.

She's a little cutie I think.

A card for a change!

I haven't made a card or used my Tilda stamps for ages so it seemed time to get her out.
I coloured her with my promarkers, keeping the shades quite muted to keep the distressed/vintage feel.
